Accounting Manager - Mechanicsburg, PA

Our client is a growing financial services firm that spans the Mid-Atlantic region. They're currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team in Mechanicsburg, PA.

 

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years' in an accounting capacity and must have leadership experience. This leader and team will be hands-on with GAAP, General Ledgers, AP, Fixed Assets and Cash Management. 

 

This individual will be responsible for the oversight and timely, accurate recording of transaction to the association’s general ledger, dissemination of information and staff training. Identify and make recommendations for enhancements which improve processing and/or efficiencies. All duties are performed in compliance with statutory and regulatory rule and in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States (GAAP). Responsible for supervision of accounting direct reports. Provides assistance to Controller in providing specialized reports in the fiscal and operations area of the association.

 

Bachelor's degree required. CPA is a plus. Financial services industry experience is highly preferred. Prior experience in public accounting is highly desired.
