Veritas Partners has an immediate need for a fulltime Business Product Manager to work for one of the premier financial institutions in the greater Baltimore, MD area!  This is a highly visible, leadership position, that is HYBRID in the Baltimore, MD area.


The successful Business Product Manager candidate will function as the business lead for technology solutions for the Private Client, and Endowment & Foundation business (“PCE&F”).




  • Coordinating PCE&F business resources to support systems projects, as needed.

oThis is includes ensuring that business unit Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) are appropriately positioned to participate in technology related efforts.

  • Working with a cross functional team of stakeholders to define the business and functional requirements for PCE&F systems

oParticipate in business requirements gathering sessions

oDescribe desired business functionality

oPrioritize business functionality

  • Functioning as the business lead for systems releases. Participate in and provide business approval and sign-off for:

oRelease content

oRelease dates

oProduction Go/No-Go assessments 

  • Acting as the business unit lead for during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance testing and other quality assurance (QA) activities, including

oDefining business test cases, scripts and procedures

oParticipating in testing and QA processes

oLogging test results

oPrioritization of functional software defects

oApproving and providing business sign-off on test results of software releases, bug fixes, or enhancements

  • Act as a key communications conduit between PCE&F, Technology, and other business units

oReviewing and communicating system maintenance activities, and coordination of business process calendars and activities with the Technology Team

oHelping to communicate project status to business stakeholders, whether forwarding or creating message content

  • Act as the lead on business user training and adoption for system implementations and releases

oDevelop and maintain training materials and procedures for business unit colleagues

§  Help develop and communicate user guides, job aids, and other user related materials

oCoordinate training sessions

oFacilitate implementation overviews and feedback sessions

oHelp develop user adoption targets and metrics

oAct as the lead for the identification of system metrics reporting and dashboards for business users and executives. 






  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in delivering or supporting effective technology solutions required

  • Experience with Pegasystems and Salesforce preferred

  • Strong writing skills with experience building impactful content including presentations, interactive product demo’s, webinars, videos, and case studies

  • Must have an understanding of and experience with project management methodologies, including iterative development, Agile/Scrum, and structured approaches

  • Must have strong knowledge and experience with MS Project or other project management software (Jira, Redmine, Confluence, GitHub, Version One, Yodiz, SmartSheet, Teams, etc.)

  • Cultivated strong relationships with vendors and influenced their roadmaps

  • Experience in financial services and regulated environments is preferred

  • Ability to work in an office location
