Job Description :
Our client, a bank in Elmwood Park, NJ, is currently seeking a C&I Underwriter to join their growing team. This will be a full-time underwriting position and will not have portfolio management duties.
Details
- C&I deals only
- Transactions from $1MM - $40MM
- Attend credit committee
- Interact with commercial lenders
- Review and analyze commercial loan applications, financial statements, business soundness and viability
- Perform in-depth due diligence on prospective clients and their financial statements
Qualifications
- Seven years of C&I Underwriting experience
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Sound financial modeling skills
- Strong credit knowledge
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Office
- Strong communication skills
