Job Description :
Our client, a commercial lender in the Indianapolis, IN area, is currently seeking a Commercial Underwriter to join their team. The Commercial Loan Underwriter will be responsible for underwriting new and existing customers for the company's commercial loan portfolio. The portfolio will consist of commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate loans and some SBA loans. Deal sizes will range from $1MM -$30MM.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience underwriting commercial loans. Knowledge of commercial and industrial loans, commercial loans or SBA loans is highly desired. The incumbent must be proficient with Microsoft Office and have strong attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance is a plus.
