Director of Philanthropy - Baltimore, MD

We are searching for a passionate and enthusiastic Director of Philanthropy for a Non Profit in Baltimore. The Director of Philanthropy will provide both operational support & strategic expertise within development, annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, digital marketing, grants, and fundraising events.

Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with the CEO and Engagement to create and implement a fundraising plan

● Maintain relationships with existing sponsors

● Gather financial support from individuals and organizations

● Manage fundraising and special events

● Prepare and present regular reports on progress towards fundraising goals

● Manage grant writing and identification of new grant opportunities

● Generate donor communications, newsletters, and annual reports

● Travel for conferences and other fundraising events (20% travel)

Requirements and Skills

● Work experience as a Director of Philanthropy, Development Director or similar role

● Written and verbal communication skills to speak with donors and other stakeholders

● Work with fundraising software and tools to track progress

● Working knowledge of Salesforce, Asana, and QuickBooks
