Veritas Partners has an immediate need for a Managing Director of Analytics Technology to join a highly successful asset management and consulting firm. We are seeking an individual to help lead a new technology-focused entity focused on creating tools that can be used by depository clients to help analyze risk and enhance profitability. We are looking for an individual that understands how to build tools from start to finish and can manage a team. We see this group as being innovative and working to find new ways to solve old problems. Our hope is to create and launch several precise analytical solutions quickly and efficiently. The developer must be able to communicate and work well in a company that is in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Creating financial analysis software to be used by financial depositories

• Work in a new group that is part of a mature company with a captive client base

• Work with front-end business units to understand what types of tools and analytical programs clients need

• Design an architecture to support stability, scalability, and optimized performance

• Develop initial structure that can be used to analyze and solve client problems with the intent of scaling solutions to meet all client needs

• Coordinate with financial modelers to ensure solutions are in line with expectations

• Develop web-based tools for client utilization as we migrate to a SaaS framework

• Develop databases and assist in deciding resource allocation to maintain programs

• Opportunity to create and build solutions as needed to meet client need

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Heavy knowledge of C#, JavaScript, SQL, Azure

• Leadership ability and near/offshore team experience

• Experience in starting, scaling, and exiting a firm is a plus
