Job Description :
The Senior Cloud Ops Engineer will play a crucial role in designing,
implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for
ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud operations. This role
requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, and a proactive approach to
problem-solving and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure using
Kubernetes and AWS.
● Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and
continuous deployment.
● Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
● Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce
manual interventions.
● Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
● Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure smooth and reliable
application deployments.
● Implement best practices for cloud infrastructure and operations, including
security, compliance, and cost management.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to continuously
improve our infrastructure.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field; or equivalent work experience.
● Proven experience as a Cloud Ops Engineer or similar role, with a focus on
Kubernetes and AWS.
● Extensive experience with Kubernetes, including architecture, deployment, and
management of clusters at scale.
● Deep understanding of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS,
Lambda, VPC, and CloudFormation.
● Strong scripting and automation skills using Go, Python or TypeScript.
● Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS
CloudFormation.
● Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
stack, or CloudWatch.
● Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices in a
cloud environment.
● Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a
fast-paced environment.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and self-driven
approach.
