Staff Attorney, Harrisburg, PA

Our client, a bank in Harrisburg, PA, is currently seeking a Staff Attorney to join its growing legal team. The incumbent will provide legal advice to management, conduct legal research and draft legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to lending, credit, operations, and processing staff


• Assist the Compliance Officer with regulatory compliance issues


• Perform legal research on assigned topics and draft legal memos


• Review contracts and performs analysis of provisions


• Review title opinions, title certifications, real estate descriptions, deeds, easements, subordinations, releases, real and chattel security agreements


• Draft and reviews loan agreements


• Draft litigation documents

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience practicing law


• Juris Doctorate is required


• Experience in Contract Law, Uniform Commercial Code, Real Estate Law, Litigation, Legal Research, and Legal Writing


• Strong organizational skills


• Strong legal research skills including Westlaw and Practical Law
